St. Mary Catholic School, located at 251 North Main Street in Marion, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2026.

St. Mary Catholic School provides a strong Catholic education for nearly 150 students in preschool through eighth grade. Rooted in the life of the Church, our school exists to form students who know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. We are committed to fostering a vibrant Catholic culture where faith and reason are authentically integrated and where academic excellence is pursued as a response to God’s call. The school’s mission is to form students of diverse backgrounds into young disciples in the image of Christ, together building a foundation of rigorous academics, community service, and moral values in the Catholic tradition.

St. Mary School seeks a principal who is a courageous and visionary leader, committed to strengthening Catholic identity while advancing excellence in academics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for evangelization, faculty development, strategic growth, and cultivating a joyful Catholic culture that permeates every dimension of school life.

Candidates must be active, practicing Catholics and should possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
