St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, located at 321 N. Market Street in Logan, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled leader for the position of Principal beginning in the summer of 2026.
St. John is a small, historic Catholic parochial school set amid the beautiful Hocking Hills region in southeastern Ohio. The school features a multi-grade instructional model and close cooperation with families that creates an exemplary Christ-centered environment, empowering both faculty and students to glorify God.
The mission of St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is to educate every child to the fullest of his or her potential and to prepare each student for a role in the world as a Catholic adult. The school is committed to teaching the love of God, others, and self. St. John School enjoys the challenge of educating and preparing our children to advance to the next level with the knowledge, skills, and courage needed to be successful.
St. John is seeking a principal who is a proven leader, capable of helping us grow in our mission of evangelization and excellence in education. Candidates must be active, practicing Catholics and should possess a Master’s degree and administrator’s license or be eligible to obtain one. A current FBI/BCI background check, attendance at the VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children seminar and a completed online principal application for the Diocese of Columbus must be submitted as part of the application process. Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience.
