St. Francis of Assisi School, a pre-K through 8th grade Catholic parish school with 240 students in the Diocese of Arlington and a 2019 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School located in southeastern Prince William County, seeks a vibrant, Christ-centered, devoted leader to serve as principal.
The principal will hold the values of the Franciscan spirit which emphasizes standards of conduct and integrity, while encouraging the child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. St. Francis of Assisi School has a faculty and staff that recognizes the uniqueness of each student and provides an education and nurturing environment which fosters community and leadership.
Candidates must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in school administration by an accredited university or a master’s degree in another academic related field with a minimum of five years teaching experience in the Catholic schools.
This position is available for the 2026 – 2027 school year. Salary will be competitive and negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
