Christ the King Catholic School seeks a visionary, faith-filled, and mission-driven leader to serve as Principal of our vibrant Pre-K through 8th grade community in Dallas.

The Principal serves as the spiritual, academic, and day-to-day operational leader of Christ the King Catholic School, working in close partnership with the Pastor and President to advance the mission. The Principal ensures excellence in faith formation, academics, and student life while fostering a culture rooted in Gospel values, strong relationships, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will lead in alignment with the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS), ensuring best practices in the following domains:
• Mission and Catholic Identity – Promoting a vibrant sacramental life and fostering authentic Catholic culture permeating all aspects of school life.
• Governance and Leadership – Demonstrating strategic, mission-centered leadership and effective collaboration with parish and school advisory bodies.
• Academic Excellence – Ensuring rigorous, data-informed instruction and curriculum aligned with diocesan standards and best educational practices.
• Operational Vitality – Stewarding resources responsibly, supporting enrollment growth, and cultivating strong partnerships with families and the broader parish community.
Responsibilities
Faith & Mission Leadership
• Serve as the daily steward of the school’s Catholic identity.
• Foster a culture of prayer, service, and discipleship.
Academic Leadership
• Lead and support faculty in delivering a rigorous, relevant, and innovative Pre-K–8 curriculum.
• Promote professional growth aligned with NSBECS standards.
• Utilize data to inform instruction and advance student achievement.
Community Building
• Cultivate a joyful, inclusive environment where students and families feel known, seen, and valued.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholders.
Operational & Strategic Leadership
• Oversee daily operations while partnering with President and Pastor to advance campus enhancements that create sacred and dynamic spaces for worship, learning, formation, and fellowship.
Qualifications
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with a deep commitment to Catholic education.
• Masters Degree plus Catholic School Leadership Certification
• Demonstrated leadership experience in Catholic education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to implementing and sustaining the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).
