Job Summary:
The Brothers of Holy Cross Director of Mission Integration at Holy Trinity High School will provide strategic leadership to uphold and advance the mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross. As a key member of the school's Leadership Team, the Mission Integration Officer works closely with the President, Principal, Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, and the broader community to ensure that the Holy Cross mission is deeply integrated into all aspects of school. The Brothers of Holy Cross Director of Mission Integration works with the President and Principal to strengthen and celebrate the Catholic identity and Holy Cross mission of the school. Additionally, the The Brothers of Holy Cross Director of Mission Integration serves as a liaison between the school and the Congregation of Holy Cross, ensuring alignment with the MOU and sponsorship agreement.

Specific Responsibilities:
● Promote Holy Cross Principles: Upholds and promotes the charism, mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross and the founder, Blessed Basil Moreau.
● Integrate Curriculum and Culture: Guides and facilitates the integration of the charism, mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross across the full life of the school, including academic curriculum, co-curricular activities, and community rituals. This includes working with campus ministry to implement this identity into peer ministry, Moreau Groups, and masses. Acts to support the overarching Holy Cross education philosophy and the pedagogy that includes three key aspects: INFORMATION that imparts to students knowledge and competence; which is at the service of FORMATION of the student by fostering proper values, attitudes, and behaviors; which is directed toward TRANSFORMATION of the person, who becomes an agent of transformation in the world to create a better future.
● Ensures Integrity of Intentional Language: Acts as the custodian of mission-centered language, ensuring the accurate and consistent use of language and naming conventions based on the writings Blessed Basil Moreau and other Congregational documents across all school communication.
● Model "Educator in the Faith": Serves as a visible, living witness of the Holy Cross vocation, modeling the charism with humility, courage, and constancy as an educator in the faith. Bringing the charism, mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross to life through example. Additionally, serves as a role model of our call to be “educators in the faith to those whose lot we share, supporting men and women of grace and goodwill everywhere in their efforts to form communities of the coming kingdom.” [Holy Cross Constitution 2:12]
● Animate Sponsorship Agreements: Assumes primary responsibility for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Sponsorship Agreement, including coordinating sponsorship visits and drafting the Annual Report for the Board and Province. Works with and for school leadership to execute the work of the MOU and sponsorship agreement. Coordinates school participation in ministry-centered seminars, workshops, and gatherings sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross and/or the Holy Cross Institute at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas as offered for Boards, administration, faculty, staff and students.
● Strategic Leadership: Serves as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring all institutional decisions, policies, and priorities align with the charism and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
● Cultural Stewardship: Collaborates with leadership to preserve and promote the unique school culture of Holy Trinity High School. Additionally, contributes to staff formation and the successful implementation of the school’s strategic planning initiatives.
● Serve as Resident Holy Cross Expert: Commits to being the campus expert on Holy Cross texts (such as Christian Education and the Constitutions) and helps the community interpret the charism, mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross in the context of today’s challenges in the local environment. Continually deepens knowledge of the Holy Cross tradition for the benefit of the Holy Trinity High School community.
● Serve the Board: Maintains a clearly defined role with the Board of Directors, which includes serving on the Mission and Catholic Identity Committee and leading formation sessions for trustees. Works with the Board of Trustees to promote key concepts of our Catholic identity as well as the charism, mission, tradition and values of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Holy Trinity High School in order to empower their influential role as guardians of the school’s mission.
● Facilitate Constituent Formation: Designs and facilitates meaningful formation opportunities including, but not limited to sacraments, prayer services, retreats, and other opportunities grounded in Holy Cross spirituality and Catholic Social Teaching for the Board, faculty, staff, administrators, families, and alumni.
● Oversee Mission-Centered Onboarding: Coordinates onboarding to integrate new teaching and non-teaching staff to the charism, mission, values and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross, and provides opportunities for integrating the three aspects of information, formation and transformation as an overarching guide to pedagogy.
● Lead "Hiring for Mission" Initiatives: Develops mission-centered hiring practices and oversees mentoring programs for new employees and veteran teachers to develop their roles as educators in the faith.
● Direct Mission Integration and Strategy: Provides high-level oversight of institutional strategy regarding the charism, mission, values, and traditions of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Supervises and collaborates with the Campus Minister while maintaining a clear delineation of roles with the Campus Ministry.

Job Requirements:
1. Must be a practicing Catholic promoting a strong and vibrant Catholic identity.
2. Demonstrates understanding of Catholic teachings and is in communion with the Church;
3. Acts as a faith-filled, Christ-centered servant leader who embraces, models, and champions the traditions and values of Catholic education.
4. Embodies and promotes the charism, mission, values and traditions of the Brothers of Holy Cross.
5. Understands and supports the school’s culture, values, decision making and how secondary education works.
6. Superb written and verbal communication skills. Able and willing to lead group initiatives.
7. Experience guiding and coaching the work of others, including goal setting and performance discussions.
8. Bachelor's Degree in Education or Catholicism/Religious Studies, Master’s preferred.
9. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience working in Catholic education, mission integration, campus ministry, or administration as an educator in the faith in a Holy Cross school.
